Gym Literacy

The Life Skill Most Teens Never Get.

Your teen will go to college. They'll walk into a campus rec center, a community gym, a hotel fitness room. Most teens have no idea what to do when they get there. Ours do.

  • 1

    Dynamic Warm Up

Every class starts with a proper dynamic warm up. Teens learn why you warm up, how to do it right, and what happens when you skip it. A habit that stays with them forever.

  • 2

    Equipment Orientation

Dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, TRX, resistance bands, cable machines. Teens learn what each piece of equipment is, what it trains, and how to use it safely and confidently.

  • 3

    Movement Fundamentals

Squat, hinge, push, pull, carry. The five foundational movement patterns that underlie every exercise in every gym in the world. Learn these and you can teach yourself anything.

  • 4

    Stretching and Cool Down

The part most people skip and shouldn't. Teens learn a proper cool down routine that they can use on their own, after any activity, for the rest of their lives.

A Typical Class

More Learning Than Hardcore Workout.

This is not a bootcamp. It is not a sport. It is an education. Teens leave knowing more about their body and how to train it than most adults ever learn.

To Start

Dynamic Warm Up

A structured warm up that gets the body ready and teaches movement at the same time. Not just jumping jacks.

Main Focus

Equipment and Skills

Each class focuses on specific equipment or movement patterns. Teens get hands-on time with coaching and real feedback.

Movement

Conditioning Work

Age-appropriate conditioning that builds fitness without burning out developing bodies. Hard enough to feel it, smart enough to stay safe.

To Finish

Stretch and Cool Down

A proper cool down with coaching on flexibility and recovery. The habit that most gym-goers never build.

What They'll Learn

Equipment They'll Use for Life.

By the end of this class your teen will know what all of these are, what they train, and how to use them correctly and safely.

🏋️

Dumbbells

The most versatile tool in any gym. Teens learn proper grip, range of motion, and how to progress safely over time.

🔔

Kettlebells

Builds grip strength, coordination, and conditioning. Teens learn swings, goblet squats, carries, and more.

⚖️

Barbells

The king of strength training. Teens learn how to approach a barbell, load it safely, and execute the foundational lifts.

🪢

TRX Suspension

Bodyweight training that builds incredible core strength and stability. Every gym has one. Almost nobody uses it correctly.

🎯

Resistance Bands

Portable, versatile, and incredibly effective. Teens learn band exercises they can do anywhere with zero equipment.

🏃

Sleds and Conditioning

Speed, power, and cardiovascular work that builds real athleticism without the repetitive pounding of running.

Is This Right for Your Teen?

This Class is For Every Teen.

Not just athletes. Not just teens who already love fitness. Every teen deserves to feel comfortable in a gym. This is where that starts.

The Teen Who Feels Lost in a Gym

Has never touched a barbell. Doesn't know what a kettlebell is. Walks into a weight room and immediately wants to leave. This class is built specifically for them. No judgment, no comparison, just learning.

The Active Teen Who Wants More Structure

Already plays a sport or moves regularly but has never had real strength and conditioning coaching. Ready to learn the why behind the what.

The Teen Going Through the Awkward Phase

Bodies are changing. Coordination feels off. Confidence is shaky. Movement helps all of that. So does being in a room with other teens who get it.

The Teen Heading to College Soon

They'll have access to a campus rec center. They'll want to use it. But most teens have no idea how. Give them the skills before they get there.
