Power Play PE is a Sacramento-based homeschool PE program for kids ages 5–14. We accept Feather River Charter School funds through the Vista ordering system — and we make PE the part of the week your kids actually look forward to.
Swim lessons teach swimming. Martial arts teaches martial arts. Tennis teaches tennis. PE teaches your child how to move — and that transfers to everything.
No two sessions are the same. Kids experience new games, new challenges, and new ways to move every single week. They never know what's coming — and they love that.
No cancelled classes due to heat, rain, wind, or wildfire smoke. Sacramento weather is unpredictable — our gym isn't. Your kids show up and play, every single week, no matter what.
PE builds the movement literacy that makes your kid better at every activity they try — coordination, agility, spatial awareness, body control. It transfers to every sport and every stage of life.
When a kid feels capable in their body — not just good at one thing — that confidence shows up in the classroom, in social situations, and everywhere else. That's what we build here.
PE and a specific sport aren't either/or. Most of our families use a portion of their Feather River funds for Power Play PE and allocate the rest to swimming, martial arts, or whatever their kids love. PE is the foundation. Everything else builds on top of it.
New Feather River parents sometimes worry the vendor process is complicated. It's not. Here's exactly how it works:
We know vendor lists aren't accessible until you're fully enrolled — and that's frustrating when you're trying to plan. Fill out our form now and we'll walk you through the Vista process the moment your enrollment is confirmed. You don't have to figure it out alone.

A real strength and conditioning facility with quality equipment. Not a church gym, not a backyard. Your charter funds are going toward something real.

317 12th St in downtown Sacramento. Easy to reach from every direction — whether you're coming from North Sacramento, the suburbs, or anywhere in the region.
Real friendships form because the same children show up to the same place at the same time, week after week. That consistency is rare and it matters.
Most of our parents stay during class. Bring a coffee, sit with the other moms, go for a walk. This hour is yours too.

Free parking in the Chinatown Alley lot — right next door to the gym.
Homeschool families love park days. So do we. Free play, fresh air, and kids being kids is irreplaceable. Power Play PE is something different, not something better. It's structured, coached, and happens at the same time with the same kids every single week.
What we didn't expect? The moms. While their kids are inside moving and laughing, the moms started showing up early, staying late, going on walks together, and building their own thing. Nobody planned it. It just happened because when the same people show up to the same place week after week, something quietly starts to grow.
Community is our foundation.
Fill out this short form and we'll be in touch with everything you need for the Vista vendor request process.
Classes start September 8, 2026. Spots are limited.
